About us

We share at We The Medicine comes from lived experience. This isn’t something we’ve just studied or read about, it’s something we’ve walked through ourselves.

At the core of our work is a simple belief: people aren’t broken. We believe every person already has the ability to feel safe, to feel happy, and to experience real inner peace. Most people just haven’t been shown how to access that in a practical way.

Our mission is to help people break free from the patterns and emotions that keep them stuck, and to guide them back into a place of self-trust, inner strength, and clarity. We do this by working with the body’s own natural intelligence to heal, using tools like the breath, the imagination, and awareness.

When you begin to work with your body instead of against it, things start to change. Emotions that felt stuck begin to move, the nervous system settles, and there’s a sense of coming back to yourself again.

A big part of this work is self-compassion and self-love, not as concepts, but as something you actually practice. Learning how to be with yourself, without avoiding or suppressing what’s there, is where real change happens.

We’re also deeply connected to nature in the way we live and share this work. Slowing down, being outside, and reconnecting with the earth is an important part of that process.

This isn’t about fixing yourself or becoming someone else. It’s about remembering what’s already there, and learning how to live from that place.

Meet the team

Hi, we’re David and Janine — partners in life, healing, and service.

David Price is a therapist, spiritual teacher, and guide with over 25 years of experience in subconscious healing, meditation, breathwork, and transformational practices. He is the founder of We The Medicine and creator of the Divinity Pathways Method, a practical approach to healing that blends ancient wisdom with modern neuroscience. But David’s journey into healing did not begin in peaceful environments or spiritual communities. It began in the opposite place. David grew up in London surrounded by violence, instability, and trauma. The environment around him was intense and often unsafe, and like many young people navigating difficult circumstances, he experienced addiction and destructive patterns that seemed impossible to escape. For a long time, life felt dictated by survival rather than purpose. Yet within that struggle came a powerful realization: the mind is not fixed, and our past does not have to define our future. Through his own search for healing and transformation, David began discovering tools and teachings that revealed something profound, that the human brain and nervous system are capable of remarkable change. By understanding how beliefs, memories, and emotional patterns are stored in the subconscious mind, it becomes possible to release trauma and create entirely new neural pathways. This discovery changed the direction of his life. Determined to heal himself and understand these processes deeply, David immersed himself in the study of transformational methods and therapeutic modalities. Over the years he trained in a wide range of disciplines including Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), hypnosis, Havening Techniques, Timeline Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques (tapping), meditation, breathwork, and somatic practices. What began as a personal healing journey soon evolved into a lifelong vocation. As David continued to experience profound change in his own life, he felt a calling to share these tools with others who were struggling with anxiety, trauma, addiction, or emotional pain. He began working with individuals and groups, helping people reconnect with their inner strength and rediscover the natural capacity for healing that exists within every human being. Over time, this work evolved into the creation of We The Medicine, a global community dedicated to empowerment, self-healing, and spiritual remembrance. At the heart of David’s teaching is a simple but powerful message: Human beings are far more powerful than we have been led to believe. Through understanding the connection between the mind, the nervous system, emotions, and imagination, people can learn to release limiting beliefs, transform old memories, and cultivate new states of peace, clarity, and love. This work eventually became the foundation of the Divinity Pathways Method, a practical framework that combines neuroscience, subconscious healing techniques, meditation, breathwork, and guided imagination to help people rewire their inner world and reconnect with their deeper nature. David’s work today focuses on helping people remember that healing is not something outside of us... it is something we can learn to activate within ourselves. Through workshops, retreats, online trainings, and one-to-one sessions, David continues to share the tools that helped him transform his own life. His teachings are rooted in both compassion and lived experience, making his approach deeply authentic and accessible. What began as a journey out of violence and trauma has become a lifelong devotion to helping others rediscover their inner freedom. Today, through We The Medicine and the Divinity Pathways Ministry, David and his partner Janine share these teachings with a global community, guiding people back to the truth that beneath our conditioning, wounds, and stories, our true nature is whole, powerful, and deeply connected to the divine intelligence of life.

Janine Price is a movement guide, yoga teacher, devoted mother, and co-founder of We The Medicine. Through movement, meditation, and somatic practices, she helps people reconnect with the intelligence of their body and rediscover the natural healing wisdom that lives within them. Janine’s journey into healing began in Germany, where she grew up in an environment that emphasized performance, structure, and fitting into the expectations of society. From an early age, she felt the pressure to function and succeed, often pushing aside her authentic self in order to meet external standards. Beneath the surface, there was a lot of tension in that environment such as anger, frustration, and fear that many people carried silently. Like many others navigating these pressures, Janine learned to adapt and push forward. But over time the stress began to manifest physically. In her early adult years she developed several autoimmune conditions and chronic stress symptoms, which led her to question the deeper roots of health and illness. At first she followed conventional medical pathways, but she soon realized that most treatments were focused on managing symptoms rather than addressing the deeper causes of imbalance. This realization sparked a deep personal search for healing. During this time, movement became a powerful refuge. Janine had already spent many years as a professional dancer, dedicating nearly two decades to the art of movement. Dancing became a channel through which she could express emotions, move energy, and experience moments of freedom and connection in her body. Through her teenage years and early adulthood, dance helped her stay grounded and safe during challenging times. At the same time, the professional dance world also carried its own pressures... competitions, performance expectations, and the constant pursuit of perfection. While movement was healing in many ways, it was not yet fully integrated with the deeper awareness of the body and nervous system that she would later discover. As Janine continued searching for deeper healing, she felt a strong inner calling that her life needed to change direction. Guided by this intuition, she made a courageous decision: she left her career as an engineer in Germany and traveled to Costa Rica to begin a new chapter devoted to healing and self-discovery. In Costa Rica, Janine immersed herself in practices that opened an entirely new understanding of the body and mind. She trained and practiced in Kundalini Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, meditation, breathwork, and somatic healing practices, discovering how movement and awareness could regulate the nervous system and support the body’s natural healing processes. Through these practices, she began to understand that the body is deeply connected to our emotional and inner world. Stress, trauma, and suppressed emotions can become stored in the body and nervous system, while conscious movement, breath, and awareness can help release those patterns and restore balance. This understanding deepened even further when Janine met David and began exploring the principles behind the Divinity Pathways Method and the subconscious healing work at the heart of We The Medicine. Through this work, Janine experienced profound personal transformation. She began to release old emotional patterns and reconnect with her authentic feminine energy, embracing creativity, softness, intuition, and a deeper connection with nature. Movement, which had always been part of her life, now took on an entirely new dimension. It became not just expression or performance, but a pathway to healing, regulation, and self-connection. Over time, Janine was able to heal three of the four autoimmune conditions she had previously lived with, a journey that reinforced her belief that the body has an incredible capacity to restore itself when supported with the right practices and awareness. Today, Janine shares these experiences with others through movement-based healing practices that combine yoga, free movement, breathwork, sound, meditation, and nature-based rituals. Her work invites people to soften, slow down, and listen to the wisdom of their body. She often incorporates elements such as intuitive movement, shaking, tapping, breath, sound, guitar music, and guided somatic practices to help participants reconnect with their natural rhythm and inner balance. Alongside her work as a teacher and facilitator, Janine is also a devoted mother to her young son, embracing family life in Costa Rica with gratitude and joy. Through We The Medicine, Janine continues to support people in rediscovering their body as a source of wisdom, healing, and transformation, reminding us that movement is not just something we do, but something that can guide us home to ourselves.

A Foundation Rooted in Service and Collective Healing

At the heart of everything we do is a deep desire to be of service.

Through We The Medicine, we have been walking this path, supporting people from around the world to heal, reconnect, and remember who they truly are. What began as a calling to support individual transformation has naturally expanded into something greater.

As this work continues to grow, so does the calling to give more, reach further, and serve in a deeper way. This is why we created our nonprofit, Divinity Pathways Ministry.

Our mission is rooted in spiritual service. We are here to make healing, empowerment, and inner transformation accessible to all, regardless of background or belief. Everything we offer, from our online workshops and retreats to our community gatherings and healing tools, is carried out in devotion to this greater purpose.

We The Medicine is the public expression of Divinity Pathways Ministry, a faith based ministry established in the United States.

While many know us through this work, all of it is held within the structure of the ministry. This allows us to receive tax deductible donations, collaborate with aligned organizations, and expand our offerings with integrity, transparency, and care.

We are honored to carry this work forward with humility and heart, and to walk alongside those who feel called to this path of inner awakening.
